So I was doing some “News of the World” research (research?) for my earlier story on Wayne Rooney and ran across this story. I actually almost abandoned the Rooney story in favor of this one, but then I figured that it’s Tuesday, there’s not much happening, and that this is probably more interesting than a Millwall-Leeds preview or a recap of Newcastle-Middlesbrough.
The long and the short of it: Ronaldo’s ex says he likes to be dominated in bed (possibly NSFW).
Cristiano first met fitness instructor Gabriela Endringer at a club in Lisbon over the summer. Like a fifteen year old in the lunchroom, Ronaldo initially approached Endringer through an intermediary:
“He made the approach, but through a friend. He sent him to say he wanted to talk to me. As I didn’t believe it, I sent him away. Then Ronaldo came up to me. We exchanged half a dozen words and he went back to his friends. We spoke again, but through the friend, who was messenger. He carried messages from me and him, to and fro.”
After the nightclub meeting, Ronaldo texted and called her like a character in a John Cusack movie until Endringer finally relented and allowed herself to be his guest at the February 11th Portugal-Finland friendly (Where he scored! Just for her!). That game was apparently all it took, because afterwards she flew to Cheshire and spent the week with him. Says Endringer:
“I spent a week there. His house is enormous. We went out for supper twice, but I have to admit we spent a lot of time at home.”
The only thing that doesn’t fit: One would think that a winger who likes being dominated would want to play for Real Madrid next sason.
